The incident occurred early Sunday morning, August 16th, around 04:30 AM, in the car park of the Banda Sinfónica de El Ejido. The noise generated by the destruction alerted a nearby resident, who initially tried to dissuade the vandal. When this failed, the witness immediately contacted the authorities.
The swift police response was crucial. Officers arrived at the scene and managed to intercept the suspect as he was attempting to leave the area. Citizen cooperation proved decisive in the individual's apprehension.
“"The audiovisual material captured by the detainee's associates began to circulate rapidly on various digital platforms after the arrest, paradoxically becoming irrefutable graphic evidence for investigators to charge him with property damage."
Following a detailed inspection, damage to a total of five vehicles was confirmed. The damage included shattered front windshields, severe dents on roofs, and defects to doors, bonnets, and various parts of the exterior bodywork.
The detainee himself sought notoriety on social media by recording his attacks. The footage, shared by his companions, became key evidence for the property damage charges.
