The stage at Playa Serena II was the epicenter of the II Rocketas Playa, a day dedicated to rock music that featured the highly anticipated performance by Mägo de Oz, a well-known Spanish rock and folk metal band. The evening also included performances by the bands Desidia and Malas Intenciones.
The Madrid-based group arrived on the Almerian coast as part of their ‘La Noche de las Brujas’ tour, at a particularly special time for the band, who continue to tour Spanish stages throughout 2026. Their appearance in Roquetas was included in the A Pie de Calle program, the summer cultural initiative promoted by the Roquetas de Mar City Council.
This event aimed to bring rock music to a broad audience, attracting both regular fans of the band and tourists and local residents who came to Playa Serena, drawn by one of the summer's main musical attractions in Roquetas.
Before the main act, the festival featured Desidia, an Almerian band dedicated to the repertoire of Extremoduro. Their presence added a second dimension to the lineup, connecting the sound of Mägo de Oz with another major reference in Spanish rock. The format turned the beach into a meeting point for different generations of genre fans. The Sevillian band Malas Intenciones also took to the main stage at Playa Serena II with a brilliant performance paying tribute to Héroes del Silencio.
