Seville joins European Researchers' Night with 79 free activities
The city celebrates this event for the sixteenth consecutive year, bringing science closer to citizens with the participation of over 300 researchers.

Seville is preparing to celebrate the European Researchers' Night on September 25th, offering 79 free activities in different city venues.
Seville joins, for the sixteenth consecutive year, the European Researchers' Night, an event taking place simultaneously in 375 cities across Europe. The aim is to bring science and the people behind it in laboratories and research centers closer to the public.
Activities will be concentrated mainly at the Casa de la Ciencia (Perú Pavilion), but will also extend to the Uruguay Pavilion and the Fundación Valentín de Madariaga. The event will be held on Friday, September 25th, between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
A total of 300 researchers from various scientific institutions in the city will participate in the 79 scheduled activities. Eight scientific, academic, and outreach entities from Seville are part of the organization: the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the University of Seville, the Pablo de Olavide University, the Loyola University, the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, Sevilla TechPark, the Institute of Biomedicine of Seville, and the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage.

The European Researchers' Night in Andalusia is an event associated with the MSCA and Citizens initiative of the European Union, funded by the Horizon Europe program. In Andalusia, it is coordinated by the Descubre Foundation with funding from the Regional Ministry of University, Research and Innovation and its own funds. The consortium includes the Universities of Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Málaga, Pablo de Olavide, and Seville, eight centers of the CSIC, the IMGEMA-Royal Botanical Garden of Córdoba, and the Public Foundation Progress and Health.
Radio Televisión de Andalucía and the Andalusian Institute of Research and Training in Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and Organic Production (IFAPA) are strategic partners of the project.
