The operations, which will take place in the municipalities of Viator, La Mojonera, and El Ejido, aim to improve road infrastructure and will be carried out during specific hours to minimize disruption to drivers. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys in advance.
In Viator, work will focus on two sections. Between kilometer points 775+650 and 778+420, in the increasing direction, an alternating lane closure will be implemented. Additionally, between kilometers 778+520 and 777+900, in the decreasing direction, the right lane will be closed. These interventions are scheduled from 09:00 on April 20 until 13:00 on April 24, and again from 09:00 on April 27 until 13:00 on April 30.
In the municipality of La Mojonera, the A-7 will be affected between kilometers 808+800 and 810+100 in the increasing direction, with the closure of the right lane. The schedule for these works is similar to Viator, but starting at 08:00 on April 20 and April 27, extending until 13:00 on April 24 and April 30, respectively.
The most significant traffic disruptions will occur in El Ejido. Between kilometer points 812+800 and 815+000, in the increasing direction, a total lane closure will be implemented using a transfer system, from 03:00 on April 20 until 13:00 on April 24. Subsequently, in the same section but in the decreasing direction (between kilometers 815+000 and 812+800), the total closure with transfer will be repeated from 03:00 on April 27 until 13:00 on April 30.
The DGT advises drivers to exercise extreme caution, respect temporary signage, and check the updated traffic status via its official interactive map online to avoid potential delays.
