The High Performance Center (CEAR) on Seville's Isla de La Cartuja is resuming competitive rowing activity this Sunday with the Andalusian Championships for veterans and adaptive categories. The regional competition will be held concurrently with the fifth and final regatta of the 29th Andalusian Cup.
The Andalusian Rowing Federation, in collaboration with various institutions including the Regional Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía and the City Council of Seville, is organizing this event which will bring together a total of 581 athletes. Participants come from ten clubs across the provinces of Seville, Cádiz, Málaga, and Almería, as well as invited clubs from Madrid and the United Kingdom.
Among the clubs competing in the closing event of the Andalusian Cup, which includes categories from U13 (alevines) upwards, is the Club Tiempo Libre El Ejido. The competition is open to all categories.
The day's program features 85 races, divided into heats and finals, which will commence at 10:00 AM. The first session will conclude at 2:10 PM, with competition resuming in the afternoon until 6:30 PM, followed by the medal ceremony and the closing of the 29th Andalusian Cup.
