The town of Archidona will allocate 300,000 euros to the renovation of its pipeline network, thereby improving sanitation and supply infrastructures. The project will be entirely financed by the Provincial Council of Malaga.
The planned actions will also include improvements in Alameda, where a fiber cement pipe will be replaced.
Municipalities in the province have requested a total of 9.5 million euros for hydraulic actions, representing a 10.5% increase compared to the 8.6 million invested the previous year. This figure accounts for 23% of the total 2027 Concertation, exceeding the mandatory minimum of 20% reserved by the Provincial Council.
Of the total budget of 41.2 million euros for the Concertation, 40% is allocated to investment and technical assistance programs. Another 40% is designated as unconditional funds for each municipality to manage according to its priorities, and the remaining 20% is reserved for integral water cycle programs.
