As of May 11, a total of 5,351 inquiries have been managed at the assistance points set up in Casares and Benaoján, as well as at the Government Subdelegation in the provincial capital. These offices were established to provide support to citizens affected by the severe weather.
The Casares office has recorded 1,531 assistance cases since March 4, while in Benaoján, the number has increased to 2,851. Meanwhile, the Government Subdelegation, which began its work on March 2, has processed 969 inquiries, contributing to the total number of services provided in the province.
The General State Administration maintains an operational assistance system in several municipalities across Andalucía, including units in government subdelegations and integrated offices in the most affected localities. The management of these offices is carried out by the public company Tragsa, which is under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
These actions include administrative support for managing aid approved by the Council of Ministers through Royal Decree-Law 5/2026, dated February 17. Information, advice, and processing services are offered to individuals, businesses, and self-employed workers, as well as to local councils that can access a 2 billion euro aid package for the full repair of municipal infrastructures.
The operation deployed in Andalucía includes 14 integrated service offices in the most affected municipalities, in addition to units in the government subdelegations in each provincial capital. There are four offices in Cádiz, three in Granada, two in Jaén, two in Málaga (in Benaoján and Casares), two in Córdoba, and one in Almería.
