The Mein Schiff Flow, part of the TUI Cruises fleet, has made its inaugural call at the port of Málaga. This ship, measuring 333 meters in length and featuring 19 decks, is on a seven-day maiden voyage that began and will end in Palma de Mallorca, with stops in Tangier, Málaga, and Barcelona.
The cruise ship, handled by Intercruises, docked at the north pier of the eastern maritime station. During its stay, an excursion program was offered to passengers, utilizing a fleet of nine buses as shuttles to the city center and for various tourist routes. Bicycle tours, a hallmark of TUI Cruises' excursions, were also part of the activities.
The visit of the Mein Schiff Flow reinforces TUI Cruises' long-standing relationship with Málaga, dating back to November 2009. The company has now visited the port with its entire current fleet, complementing the christening of the Mein Schiff Relax and the arrival of this new vessel.
Built at the Italian shipyards of Fincantieri, the Mein Schiff Flow has a maximum capacity of 3,984 passengers. It is the second ship in the inTUItion class, with a third vessel planned. It offers standard amenities for a large cruise ship, including 1,945 cabins, 14 restaurants, 17 bars, 3 swimming pools, 6 jacuzzis, and 16 elevators, as well as a theater, casino, and spa. The ship can operate on both LNG and marine gas oil. Its return to Málaga is expected in August and September.
