The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has maintained the orange level in the eastern coastal regions of Málaga for Tuesday, after initially activating a yellow level. While temperatures have dropped in other parts of Andalusia, the Málaga coast is experiencing the effect of the terral wind, raising temperature readings.
For Wednesday, a new weather alert is forecast, this time at a yellow level, for the Costa del Sol and Guadalhorce only, with maximums predicted at 36 degrees. La Axarquía is also under a yellow heat alert, concentrated in its inland areas, with forecasts of up to 36 degrees.

In the coming days, a gradual decrease in temperatures is expected. On Wednesday, maximums on the Costa del Sol will be around 36 degrees in towns like Málaga or Estepona, and will remain around 35 inland, exceeding this figure in the Guadalhorce Valley. On Thursday, maximums will drop to about 30 degrees on the coast, while in Ronda they will be 35, and in Antequera they could reach 37.
Looking ahead to Friday, a slight additional decrease is anticipated, with maximums below 30 degrees on the coast and remaining below 35 degrees in the province's interior.
