The opening speech, which marks the start of the festivities, can be followed live from 9:30 PM on 101TV. Juanfran Funes, recognized for his work with Málaga CF and for leading the team back to the First Division, has been chosen to deliver the inaugural address.
Following the speech, the iconic portada (main entrance arch), located at the Real Cortijo de Torres, will be illuminated, officially commencing the fair.
“"After receiving the call, I was 'astonished and grateful'. However, at first, in those initial seconds, 'it's daunting because the first thing that came to my mind were the people I remembered who had given the speech before'."
Funes expressed his gratitude to the city of Málaga for the support he has received and thanked the mayor and the Corporation. "It's a tremendous honor," he emphasized, highlighting the affection from the fans and acknowledging that the dimension of the speech felt "much larger."
The opening speech will be broadcast on 101 Televisión via TDT, on the website 101tv.es, and through the 101TV Play app, in addition to comprehensive coverage on social media.
