“"Regarding a player, whenever we lose a player, it's a setback. He played a great game in La Coruña, started again in Las Palmas with an immaculate performance until the injury. We've seen great games from him this year. It happened in the first injury, he left La Rosaleda to an ovation. When he returned, the group was doing very well and it was hard for him to get in. Now that he plays two impressive games, he's gone. It's a tough injury. Hopefully, everything goes well for him to recover as best as possible."

A key Málaga CF midfielder has successfully undergone surgery for a complete hamstring tendon rupture, marking the beginning of his recovery process after being ruled out for the season.
The Málaga CF player, whose injury has sidelined him for the remainder of the regular season and the fight for promotion to Primera División, has taken a crucial step in his recovery. The surgical intervention to treat the complete rupture of the common hamstring tendon was successfully performed.
The decision to undergo surgery, the option chosen by all parties involved, will extend the player's recovery time. The operation involved the reinsertion of the tendon at its origin, in the ischial tuberosity, and proceeded as planned by the specialist at Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga.
From now on, the player will begin his recovery process away from the pitch, missing the rest of the campaign. Málaga CF will have to look for alternatives in midfield, awaiting the possible return of other injured midfielders, to face the final stretch of the season.
