The Municipal Water Company (Emasa), under the Environmental Sustainability Area of the Málaga City Council, will carry out five interventions in the coming days to improve the municipal network.
One of the operations will take place at Carlos de Haya Avenue, number 7, in the Cruz del Humilladero District, to repair a sewage pipe. These works, starting on Sunday, August 9, and lasting four days, will involve occupying the traffic lane closest to the even-numbered addresses and will affect the entrance to Mochingo Street.
On Juan Sebastián Elcano Avenue (Este District), near number 1, mixed interference works will be carried out between August 10 and 14. This will partially occupy the right traffic lane heading west, in the section between number 5 of Juan Sebastián Elcano Avenue and number 167 of Pintor Joaquín Sorolla Avenue.
Another intervention will occur on Azulejo Street (Campanillas District), number 5. From last Friday until August 12, the street will be closed to traffic from its intersection with Jarro Street due to interference works.
Additionally, on Francisco de Peñalosa Street (Ciudad Jardín), number 4, the section between Benito Menni Street and Papiro Street will be closed to traffic. These interference works are scheduled from August 12 to 18.
Finally, on Rodeo Street (Este District), number 39, 50 meters of the sewage network will be renewed. The work, starting on August 13 and estimated to last three weeks, will involve closing the section between Chopera Street and Federico Fellini Street to traffic.
The City Council has warned that, in addition to these scheduled operations, unforeseen interventions due to breakdowns or maintenance work may arise, which could also affect supply or mobility in the coming days.
