Meanwhile, Lebrón and Augsburger caused the day's major upset by coming back against Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto. After losing the first set 6-2, the pair won the second 6-3 and forced a decisive tie-break, which they won 7-6, saving multiple match points.
Coello and Tapia are seeking their sixth title of the season, while Lebrón and Augsburger will be fighting for their second trophy after Brussels. The men's final will take place at the Palacio de los Deportes Martín Carpena in Málaga, immediately after the women's final.
