The agreement, endorsed by the Director General of FGUMA, Eugenio Luque, and the President of ASPROJUMA, José Cárdenas, will facilitate access and participation for retired faculty in the courses organized by the Foundation. They will benefit from a reduction in matrícula fees, accessing them at the same price as the university community.
FGUMA's training catalog is extensive. Currently, enrollment is open for the Autumn Courses, which include 46 titles across all areas of knowledge and will take place during November. Language courses in English and French are also offered at the Language Center, available in person or via videoconference, always with native instructors and in small groups for personalized attention.
Among ASPROJUMA's objectives are to promote the updating of scientific, technical, and humanistic knowledge with societal projection, foster friendship and well-being among its members, and maintain cooperation with educational organizations and institutions, as demonstrated by this agreement.
Since its inception, the General Foundation of the UMA has collaborated with public and private entities to drive projects and reach a larger number of individuals interested in lifelong learning.
