Education professionals from five countries gathered at the Sevillian school to learn about the outcomes of this Erasmus+ initiative. The project, aimed at promoting students' mental health and emotional well-being through artistic creativity, has created a suite of free pedagogical resources available to all educational centers.
The event was attended by around a hundred professionals, including directors of Andalusian schools, inspectors, advisors, and representatives from partner European entities. The Director General of Teacher Training and Educational Innovation of the Junta de Andalucía emphasized the vital importance of such international initiatives in equipping teachers with innovative tools and fostering healthier, more resilient educational environments.
MindnArt is the culmination of collaborative work between entities from Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Slovenia. The project has designed and piloted methodologies enabling teachers to address emotional education through artistic experiences tailored to each classroom's reality. Pilot experiences have demonstrated art's immense potential in enhancing psychological well-being, self-esteem, and social skills, while also reducing conflicts and boosting learning motivation.
During the meeting, presentations, workshops, and best practices were shared, fostering professional exchange among participating countries. Attendees highly rated the program's quality and the impeccable technical organization led by the Andalusian Association of Directors of Infant, Primary, and School Residences (ASADIPRE).
With its conclusion in Seville, MindnArt marks the end of its development phase but begins its true mission in classrooms. The project offers didactic guides, methodologies, and practical resources on its official website, serving as an indispensable toolkit for 21st-century schools to tackle the challenge of emotional education.
