The campaign benefits from a municipal subsidy of 1,500 euros and the participation of over 40 companies and establishments in the town. The aim is to encourage local consumption and offer direct prizes and experiences to consumers.
The mayor of Pozoblanco, Santiago Cabello, highlighted that "local commerce is the engine that brings our streets to life and a fundamental pillar for job creation." He emphasized the City Council's commitment to supporting self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs with initiatives like «El Fereo», which reflect the dynamism and quality of local trade.
The Councilor for Commerce, Maribel Sánchez, encouraged citizen participation, detailing the mechanics of the raffles. "We wanted to design an attractive campaign for both regular customers and to attract new consumers," she stated, inviting people to discover the offerings of local professionals with the chance to win prizes.
Representing the commercial sector, David Fernández, president of the Open Commercial Center, thanked the City Council for its support and the businesses for their involvement. "For proximity commerce, it is vital to have this type of support," he noted, highlighting the enthusiasm of the more than 40 participating establishments in rewarding customers.
The «El Fereo» campaign offers two prize avenues until Wednesday, September 16th. Firstly, through the raffle of 50-euro vouchers redeemable at participating stores, promoting a circular economy. Secondly, with the «El Fereo» card, where customers who collect stamps from 6 different establishments will enter the final draw for 2 packs of 2 tickets to the renowned Puy du Fou theme park.
