The municipality of Mojácar celebrated the opening of its new Park of Families this Saturday, a space designed to become a meeting point and enjoyment for children, adults, and families. The inauguration brought together numerous residents and visitors.
The mayor, Francisco García Cerdá, highlighted the importance of creating places for coexistence and well-being. "This park is born with a very simple, but also very important purpose: that families have a place to meet, where children can play and be children, and where we can continue creating memories together. Seeing it full of life today is, without a doubt, the best way to inaugurate it," he stated.
Following the park's opening, the day continued with the traditional children's ribbons, one of the most cherished events of the patron saint festivities in honor of San Agustín. The youngest ones were the protagonists of an afternoon marked by excitement, smiles, and tradition.
The celebration was accompanied by the Municipal Music Band, which provided rhythm and emotion to a family-oriented day. The children's ribbons are a tradition passed down through generations, filling the streets of Mojácar with shared moments.
The Mojácar City Council thanked the participation of families, residents, and visitors, and especially the children who made the day possible with their enthusiasm, as well as the Municipal Music Band for their accompaniment.
