The controversial incident at the Cantora estate, located in Medina Sidonia (Cádiz), has sparked a new controversy. Almudena Mateos, an employee of the property, recounted on the program ¡De viernes! her version of the events that occurred on April 16th, describing a home invasion and a confrontation with Kiko Rivera and his partner, Lola García.
According to Mateos's testimony, the lock on the main door was forced, and she found Rivera and García inside. Tensions escalated when, according to her account, Rivera and three other workers raised their hands in her daughter's face, prompting her intervention.
In response to these statements, Kiko Rivera shared a statement on his social media, calling the employee a "being" and criticizing her for trying to "use" his presence in the house to "cause harm." The artist expressed his anger over the lack of respect shown to his partner, Lola García, stating that she "needs money and the constant desire to live off of this."
Rivera strongly defended Lola García, describing her as "noble, educated, sensitive, and, above all, good-hearted," and lamented that "many" have a negative image of her "because of so much garbage." The DJ concluded by asking for respect and expressing his weariness with people who "don't know how to live if not by trying to destroy, provoke, or profit from others' pain."
