The town of Torrox has regained one of its most recognizable images with the reinstallation of colorful umbrellas in Constitution Square. This action takes place within the framework of the latest renovation works in this central enclave, located in the heart of the Axarquía municipality, and aims to boost its appeal ahead of the high season.
“"With this action, we not only recover one of the most characteristic images of the municipality, but we also highlight an enclave that has become one of the most photographed and shared on social media."
The initiative, highlighted by the local mayor alongside the councilor for Public Works and Infrastructure, not only has aesthetic value but also provides functional improvement. The presence of the umbrellas increases shade and comfort in the square, encouraging its use by both residents and visitors.
The municipal official emphasized that “every detail is fundamental to consolidate a quality image,” highlighting the importance of such actions to revitalize the commercial and hospitality fabric of the historic center. With the placement of over 600 umbrellas, Torrox aims to fill its most iconic square with color, solidifying it as a significant tourist and photographic attraction in this Málaga municipality.
