The initiative aims to make the municipality's coastline a hub for health and sports in the Axarquía region, featuring up to 30 weekly outdoor sessions. The goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle among residents and tourists while also promoting local sports centers.
Coordinated by the Department of Sports and the sub-mayorship of El Morche, the campaign will run from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. This schedule is designed to facilitate participation for all types of audiences and avoid the hottest parts of the day.
The program stands out for its variety, encompassing disciplines focused on relaxation and flexibility such as yoga and pilates, high-intensity training like crossfit and G.A.P. (Glutes, Abs, and Legs), and rhythm and dance sessions including zumba, fitdance & combat boxing, and mixdance.
Representatives from collectives and associations such as Nadia Fitness Dance Studio, Pandora Box, the activity school Manantia International Wellness Center, and Liz Mascaro, an instructor from the activity school, will be involved in leading the sessions. Detailed information and schedules will be available on the official channels and social media of the Torrox City Council.
