The Cueva del Tesoro, recognized as the only marine-origin cave accessible to the public in Europe, will offer free admission throughout the day. This initiative aims to introduce residents and tourists to the geological, archaeological, and historical richness of this unique site.
Two special guided tours are scheduled, at 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, to delve deeper into the cave's secrets. The Councilor for Tourism, Antonio José Martín, emphasized that the goal is to "bring the natural and historical heritage of the Cueva del Tesoro closer to residents and visitors," recalling that the previous edition attracted 687 people.
The mayor, Francisco Salado, highlighted that the celebration is a "magnificent opportunity to promote our most emblematic cave," valuing its "important archaeological and prehistoric vestiges" and its more than 500 meters of galleries and lake areas.
Admission will be free, but prior reservation will be required, limited to two people per booking, through the official tourism portal. Visiting hours will be from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
