The competition, a well-established event in Nerja's cultural calendar, will unfold over four qualifying rounds on Saturdays September 5, 12, 19, and 26. During these stages, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge of different flamenco styles and their interpretive skills.
The Grand Final, the most anticipated moment of the contest, will be held on Saturday, October 3rd. In this gala, the finalists will compete to win the first prize of this twenty-fourth edition.
“"It is important to continue supporting initiatives like this contest, which contribute to promoting and disseminating flamenco, fostering new talents, and keeping alive one of the main expressions of Andalusian culture."
From the Department of Culture, Ana María Muñoz has highlighted the importance of continuing to support such events. Furthermore, the work carried out by the Peña Flamenca La Soleá de Nerja in organizing the competition and promoting flamenco throughout the year has been valued, establishing it as a local cultural benchmark.
The City Council and Peña La Soleá invite residents, fans, and visitors to enjoy the different rounds of the contest and its Grand Final, supporting the participating singers with their presence and sharing nights dedicated to the art, tradition, and passion for flamenco.
