The residents of Alfarnatejo will prepare around 1,200 liters of their traditional gazpacho, known for its "three hits" of oil, salt, and vinegar, which will be served in ceramic bowls. The event, which combines gastronomy and culture, will feature artist José Luis Puche as ambassador, who will also be named an Adoptive Son.
The festival will extend throughout the Municipal Park and the Plaza de la Constitución, offering markets for Sabor a Málaga products and Lavender, culinary demonstrations, a book presentation, and the creation of a new dessert called 'Natejito'. The digital passport #territoriotejon, a giant gazpacho for photos, and a 3D monument to the badger couple 'Alfar y Natejo' will also be unveiled.
The musical program will include performances by the Orquesta Kalima, the group Long Play, the orchestra Infinity Show, a reggaeton tribute, and a set by DJ Javi Domínguez.
Pre-event activities will kick off on Thursday, July 30th, with the 'Salta al tejón' bale-throwing contest, a meeting of rociero choirs, and bingo. On Friday, July 31st, there will be the Water Festival, the musical Grease performed by students, and the 'Glow Party'.
