A 63-year-old male was affected by smoke inhalation as a result of a fire registered early Wednesday morning in a home in the Málaga town of Rincón de la Victoria. The incident occurred around 3:45 AM when a call alerted to a fire in a room of an apartment located on Jumilla street, in Cala del Moral.
Following the alert, Provincial Firefighters Consortium, the 061 Health Emergencies Center, the Guardia Civil, and Local Police were immediately mobilized. Upon the arrival of the emergency services, the fire was already practically extinguished, although firefighters had to carry out ventilation work in the room.
The sole individual affected by the incident was evacuated to the Primary Care Center of Rincón de la Victoria for treatment.
