The VOX party has unveiled its list of candidates for the upcoming Andalusian elections in the province of Jaén, with Benito Morillo at the helm, seeking his third term, joined by new figures from Linares, Úbeda, and Villanueva del Arzobispo.

The VOX candidacy for the Andalusian elections in Jaén will be led by Benito Morillo, who previously served as a deputy in the last legislature. This marks his third time as head of the list, solidifying his political career within the party. Morillo has held significant roles, including chairing the Justice, Local Administration and Public Function Commission, and serving as spokesperson for various commissions such as Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, Culture and Historical Heritage, and European Affairs.
Joining Morillo in the top positions on the list is Alba Sánchez from Linares, who holds the second spot. Sánchez has been an assistant to the VOX municipal group in the Linares City Council since 2023 and is the local coordinator for VOX in that town. Her background includes qualifications in Administrative Management, Tourism Guide, Information and Assistance, and Health Documentation and Administration.
In third place is Fernando Navas, the current councilor and spokesperson for VOX in the Úbeda City Council. As an entrepreneur, Navas brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing the agricultural sector and the businesses that drive the real economy in the province of Jaén. His goal is to promote employment, development, and opportunities in Andalusia. Following him in fourth position is Pilar Sánchez, councilor and spokesperson in the Villanueva del Arzobispo City Council. She is a clinical assistant and holds a diploma as a Technical Expert in Tax, Labor, and Accounting Advisory, in addition to managing a private medical center and a restaurant.
Following the approval of these lists by the National Executive Committee (CEN), VOX plans a candidate presentation event this Thursday in Málaga. The event will be attended by the party's president, Santiago Abascal. In the morning, the VOX leadership will gather members of the CEN and the Political Action Committee, along with national and regional spokespersons. A family photo will be taken at 12:00 PM, and the meeting will commence at 12:15 PM, concluding with a statement to the media by the general secretary, Ignacio Garriga. In the afternoon, at 7:30 PM, the pre-campaign event will take place in Plaza de Mateo Luzón.
