This encounter marks the beginning of a continuous collaboration project throughout the school year, focused on strengthening cooperation between the City Council and educational institutions to promote co-education and advance the III Plan for Equality between Women and Men in Education.
During the session, actions related to co-education, equality, and gender violence prevention for the first term were planned. Information was also provided on the co-education guidance and advisory service of the Municipal Center for Information for Women (CMIM), aimed at supporting centers in designing educational initiatives with a gender perspective.
Experiences, resources, and materials were shared, fostering mutual learning and the pooling of best practices among the different educational centers.
This initial meeting leads to periodic programming and coordination throughout the academic year, allowing for the monitoring of actions, identification of needs, and joint design of new proposals.
The Martos City Council emphasizes the importance of stable collaboration between the educational sphere and the CMIM, considering co-education a fundamental tool for preventing inequalities and gender violence from an early age, and for building relationships based on equality, respect, and good treatment.
