This measure aims to alleviate the shortage of training lanes and hours that has affected the city since the heated pool at the same complex closed in February due to severe storm damage. This initiative is complemented by the full operation of the Las Fuentezuelas heated pool, which runs seven days a week, including Sunday afternoons.
Work to get the La Salobreja pool ready is underway. Operators have already completed the draining of the pool basin. Next week, the basin will be cleaned, a crucial task to ensure hygiene and prevent the growth of algae, fungi, and bacteria.
Starting Monday, May 4, acid will be supplied, which is essential for regulating the water's pH and ensuring its quality. Subsequently, from Monday, May 11, the pool will begin to be filled, bringing its anticipated opening date closer.
