Throughout the weekend, África Colomo, who holds the position of third vice-president and deputy of Culture and Sports, was present at several finals of the Diputación Cup in Football and Futsal. The matches took place at the La Victoria stadium, the Sebastián Barajas and Antoñete football fields, and the Olivo Arena Sports Palace.
On Sunday, Colomo participated in the awards ceremony for the football matches that determined the champions in the pre-benjamin (silver phase), under-12 (gold and silver phases), and youth (gold phase) categories. In the pre-benjamin category, Linares CF emerged victorious against Alto Castillo. In the under-12 silver phase, Úbeda Viva defeated Club Deportivo Jaén 2021. The under-12 gold title went to Linares CF after beating Deportivo Jaén. Finally, in the youth category, Real Jaén won the final against Torreperogil.
Additionally, Colomo attended the futsal finals in the benjamin and infantil categories on Saturday. In the benjamin category, Atlético Mengíbar was crowned champion by defeating Jaén FS. In the infantil category, Jaén FS overcame Maristas.
