The Flamenco Cultural Gathering of Las Colonias continues its program of activities, offering a new cultural event. The gathering will take place next Saturday, April 25, and will feature a performance by Pura de Pura on vocals, Carmelo Picón on guitar, and Álvaro 'El Sarabia' on dance.
The show is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM at the Tertulia's headquarters, located at 101 Avenida Cristóbal Colón. Admission is free until full capacity is reached, allowing access to all those interested in enjoying flamenco art.
The Tertulia maintains its commitment to supporting artists who, while not always widely renowned, are regular figures in flamenco tablaos, where they develop a significant part of their professional careers. Additionally, the event will include a meat paella offered at popular prices, complementing the cultural experience with a gastronomic offering.
Regarding the artists, Pura de Pura, daughter of a renowned Sevillian guitarist, trained at the Cristina Heeren Foundation and has been a student of prominent flamenco singers. She currently also works as a vocal technique and singing instructor in the city. Carmelo Picón, a guitarist with extensive experience, has shared the stage on international tours and is a notable accompanist for dance. For this occasion, Álvaro 'El Sarabia', seasoned in various tablaos, will be in charge of the dance.
