The Rítmico Colombino Club has once again demonstrated its strength in Andalusian rhythmic gymnastics. At the recent Andalusian Championship held in Córdoba, the Benjamin Base team secured the regional runner-up title, earning a silver medal. The team, consisting of Ana, Blanca, Helena, Miranda, and Alejandra, performed a spectacular free-hand exercise that has been a hallmark of their season.
The club's performance did not stop there. The Infantil (Junior) team, made up of Cayetana, Sara, Claudia, Andrea, and Laura, narrowly missed the podium, finishing in a commendable fourth place. In the individual base category, Paula Barragán shone brightly, capturing a valuable bronze medal among 29 participants with her demanding and high-quality ribbon routine.
In addition to the medals, the club earned diplomas thanks to the performances of Carla Serrano (rope), Tifany Vides (hoop), and Claudia Pacheco (ball). Senior gymnast Naiala Pedroza, on loan from the Liceo de Córdoba Club, also contributed to the medal tally with a bronze.
“"They have worked incredibly hard to get here, and these results are a reflection of their effort, consistency, and commitment."
The technical team, comprising Andriana Stoyanska, Lucía Paseo, and Alicia Moreno, expressed their satisfaction with the athletes' performance. The club's president, Nazaret Vélez, thanked the support from the Provincial Council of Huelva, the Huelva City Council, and sponsors such as Promesur, Moncobra, Fresmellizo, Urbanz, Discafé Huelva, Erilla Fruit, Lorman, and Onugate Vending.
Rítmico Colombino thus consolidates its position as a benchmark in Andalusian rhythmic gymnastics, carrying the name of Huelva to the highest levels of regional competition.
