The Secretary General of the PP of Andalusia, Antonio Repullo, has expressed his party's ambition to "expand its representation" and extend "governance, management, and our way of understanding municipal politics" to more municipalities in Huelva. These statements were made in Huelva, prior to a working meeting with popular mayors and spokespersons from the province.
Repullo defended the management of the People's Party in Andalusia, led by Juanma Moreno, contrasting it with that of the PSOE. He criticized the alleged lack of investment in Andalusia compared to the "more than 6 billion euros" planned for Catalonia, attributing this situation to the "need for support to remain in power" by socialist Secretary General María Jesús Montero.
The main objective of the meeting was to work with the numerous popular mayors and spokespersons of the province, as well as with those in municipalities where the PP does not yet hold government. The party seeks to position itself with "the best content" and "examples of management" to promote economic and social development.
Furthermore, Repullo addressed the issue of connectivity in the province of Huelva, particularly rail transport, describing it as a "necessity that affects daily life and the future." He pointed out that the lack of connections limits opportunities for young people, families, and entrepreneurs, linking this deficiency to the "management paralysis" of the central government.
