This Tuesday, the Gardens of Casa Colón will be illuminated in the style of Lewis Carroll's universe, recreating scenic elements inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The ambiance, available from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM, will feature the street theater group Saltimpunqui, providing music, animation, and theatrical actions to create an immersive atmosphere.
Concurrently, the Palacio de Congresos will host the Conversatio literary gathering at 7:00 PM. This event will bring together prominent literary figures to discuss literary creation from the provinces and the transformative impact of reading in contemporary society. Following the discussion, attendees can enjoy a glass of Condado de Huelva wine in the illuminated gardens.
“"The organization has also provided a childcare service for minors, with the aim of facilitating attendance at the literary gathering, especially for those who come with family."
In addition to these activities, the Casa Colón is hosting the exhibition “Minas de Riotinto,” a display of oil paintings by Gerardo Pita that capture the chromatic richness of the mining environment. The exhibition will be open until Wednesday, April 29, with free admission from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
For film enthusiasts, Huelva's Gran Teatro will host the III Inclusive Film Festival. This initiative, promoted by the Huelva City Council, aims to use cinema as a tool for social awareness, promoting empathy and inclusion. The screenings, which include morning sessions for schools and an open session for the public on April 21 featuring the film Wolfgang, will offer accessibility through subtitling and audio description.
