The PP emphasized that the sea's advance during high tide poses a direct threat to homes located on the beachfront. Therefore, they have urged the General Directorate of Coasts to prioritize the construction of breakwaters and other containment structures to prevent sand loss.
The request includes the creation of a comprehensive improvement plan for the province's coastal infrastructure. The party argues that the current situation negatively impacts both the tourism and business activity in the area and the safety of local residents.
