The city of Huelva has completed the preparation of its 26 public infant and primary education schools for the start of the academic year. The work included general maintenance, painting, thorough cleaning, and pest control treatments.
To expedite these tasks, the municipal company Emlicodensa has added 35 new professionals to its workforce, bringing the total number of employees dedicated to school readiness to 150. This reinforcement has allowed for optimized interventions in both the interior and exterior areas of the educational centers.
The mayor of Huelva highlighted the achievement of the municipal objective, attributing it to the coordination between City Council teams and the public company. She emphasized the maintenance and painting work carried out over the summer, as well as the final cleaning and environmental health actions.
Furthermore, various specific repairs and improvements have been made at each educational facility, addressing identified needs. The collaboration of school management teams and teaching staff has been crucial, providing information on issues to guide municipal actions.
