According to the party, the Annual Report of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA) for 2024 reveals that over 860,000 cases remained pending during that year. This situation is "aggravated by drug trafficking and illegal immigration," according to the Vox candidate for Granada in the Andalusian Parliament.
Vox's parliamentary group in the Congress of Deputies has registered an initiative to address these problems. The proposal urges the Government to increase resources for Justice, strengthen the fight against drug trafficking and illegal immigration, and reform the Penal Code.
The reform of the Penal Code aims to "ensure the expulsion of convicted foreigners and guarantee that international criminals serve their sentences in their countries of origin." Furthermore, the party recalled that Granada has been waiting two decades for the City of Justice, a project that, according to them, has been "yet another failure of bipartisanship" with the province.
“"If they think that eight years of non-compliance is a way to convince the people of Granada to vote for them, so be it. What we ask of them is more respect, more seriousness, and more decorum with Granada, which is the judicial capital of Andalusia."
Vox also criticizes the PP candidate for "campaigning with the City of Justice and trying to sell an empty plot as an achievement of Moreno." The party emphasizes that the citizens of Granada will have the opportunity on May 17 to "end so much neglect" and express their dissatisfaction with the management of PP and PSOE.
