Two Women Intoxicated in Otura House Fire

Two women, aged 84 and 54, were taken to Hospital Clínico San Cecilio after suffering smoke inhalation and a minor burn in an early morning fire at a home in Otura, Granada.

The incident occurred in the early hours of this Saturday, April 4, when the Emergencias 112 Andalucía service received an alert around 4:25 AM. The call reported a fire in a two-story wooden house located on Rodríguez de la Fuente Street in the town of Otura.
Immediately, the 112 coordinating center dispatched Firefighters, the 061 Health Emergency Center, the Guardia Civil, and the Local Police to the scene of the incident.
Emergency teams attended to the two affected women, who showed symptoms of smoke inhalation. One of them, aged 54, also sustained a minor burn on her foot. Both were evacuated to Hospital Clínico San Cecilio for specialized medical attention.
