According to an analysis by the INE on the net monthly salaries of university graduates in the 2023/2024 academic year, who were employed in 2019, health-related careers lead the ranking for employability and remuneration in Granada. Approximately three degrees from the University of Granada's offerings show a high percentage of graduates earning over 3,000 euros per month.
The standout degrees are Medicine, with 21% of its graduates reaching this salary figure, followed by Dentistry with 20.4%. The third highlighted degree is Biomedical Engineering, a new offering in Granada for the upcoming academic year, which will be taught jointly with the University of Jaén. The first two years of this program will be completed in Linares, and the final two in Granada.
Traditionally, the cut-off grades for Dentistry (with 85 vacancies) and Medicine (with 272 places) are among the highest, exceeding 13, due to the high demand. For Biomedical Engineering, with approximately 30 places available, the cut-off grade will be known after the first allocation in July, although it is anticipated to be high.
The National Statistics Institute (INE) has compiled this table by analyzing salary data of university graduates from the 2023/2024 academic year, based on their employment status in 2019. The University of Granada will offer 11,240 first-year places for the upcoming academic year among its nearly one hundred undergraduate and double-degree programs.
