The celebration of La Vuelta Ciclista a España 2026 in Granada and its province has resulted in an economic boost of 3.2 million euros, along with notable tourist and media projection.

The passage of La Vuelta through Granada and its province has generated an estimated economic impact of 3.2 million euros, according to figures provided by the City Council and the organization. The competition, which included three stages in Granada territory, also achieved significant media and promotional exposure, valued at 6.3 million euros.
The mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo, highlighted that the city demonstrated its capacity to host international-level events, turning them into economic and tourist opportunities. Digital reach extended to 50 million impressions and two million interactions, consolidating the event's visibility.
The final stages held in Granada coincided with other cultural events, boosting hotel occupancy above 90%. It is estimated that around 3,500 people linked to the race stayed overnight in the province, benefiting hotels, restaurants, and other services.
The television broadcast of the Granada stages had a wide reach, with significant audiences on La 1 and La 2, in addition to coverage on EuroSport. The broadcast in 190 countries showcased images of emblematic locations such as the Alhambra, the Albaicín, and the Sacromonte, offering magnificent tourist promotion.
The mayor thanked the public's response and the work of security forces and volunteers, including 237 Local Police officers, Civil Protection, Firefighters, National Police, Civil Guard, and 061, who ensured the safety of the event.
