The airline company has announced that it will begin its operations from the Rosalía de Castro Airport in Santiago with an initial network of eight destinations, including Granada. The route to the Galician capital will have two weekly frequencies, flying on Mondays and Thursdays.
Flights will depart from Santiago at 06:00 AM, arriving in Granada at 07:30 AM, and the return from Granada is scheduled for 08:20 AM, landing in Santiago at 09:50 AM. Tickets will have a starting price of 19 euros, including taxes.
With this new route, Granada Airport will expand its offering to 15 destinations by the end of the year, adding eleven national and four international ones. Among the new connections are flights to London-Luton, Porto, and Valencia, in addition to the return of the route to Bilbao.
The Provincial Council of Granada has expressed its willingness to collaborate with Fly2Galicia through co-marketing agreements to promote the route and consolidate it, aiming for flights to be full and for airlines to maintain operations.
Fly2Galicia is a newly created airline whose project is led by Gueorgui Iavorov Popov. The company has maintained positive communications with the Santiago City Council and the Xunta de Galicia for the development of the initiative.
