The province of Granada has experienced an overnight of tremors with six new earthquakes, the most significant being a magnitude 3.4 in Dílar, which triggered emergency calls.

The early hours of this Thursday have once again witnessed seismic activity in the province of Granada, with the occurrence of six new earthquakes. The most intense, with a magnitude of 3.4, had its epicenter in Dílar at 02:15 AM and at a depth of five kilometers, being felt in the capital and the Metropolitan Area.
The National Geographic Institute (IGN) reported that this main tremor generated numerous calls to the 112 emergency service of Andalusia from Granada capital, as well as from towns such as Maracena, Las Gabias, and Alhendín. Despite the alarm generated, no new material damage has been reported.
These seismic events were joined by five others of lesser intensity, up to 2.2, registered between 02:28 AM and 06:28 AM, with epicenters in Gójar, Ogíjares, La Zubia, and again in Dílar. These events are part of the series of tremors affecting the province since last Saturday.
The Junta de Andalucía maintains the pre-emergency phase of the Seismic Risk Plan active in the province. To date, 580 properties have been inspected in seven municipalities, of which 14 require attention, but none have been classified as permanently uninhabitable.
Scientists from the National Geographic Institute, the Andalusian Institute of Geophysics, the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain, and the CSIC continue to monitor the activity, reminding that earthquake prediction remains impossible.
