The primary representative body for Granada CF fans, the Fan Federation, has stated it will not join the protest called by 'Unión Granadinista'. This mobilization, scheduled for June 25th, aimed to demonstrate against the club's current management and demand accountability for decisions made.
This news, disseminated through a statement by 'Unión Granadinista', has sparked various reactions among the team's supporters on social media, with some criticizing the Fan Federation's stance. The 'Unión Granadinista' statement prudently justifies its position by noting that the season has not yet begun and that it is necessary to wait for significant events to more rigorously assess the club's current situation.
“"The season has not yet begun and we believe it is necessary to wait for important events that will allow for a more rigorous assessment of the club's current situation, such as the season ticket campaign, the transfer market developments, and public appearances by both the technical staff and the board to present the sporting and institutional project."
The Fan Federation, for its part, clarified that they did not receive any formal communication to coordinate mobilizations, beyond a social media post from accounts that, they claim, have repeatedly insulted this group. They have reiterated their commitment to always acting in the best interest of the club and its fans.
