The match, marked by the typical inaccuracies of the preparatory phase, saw the Ceuta team take the lead in the 34th minute thanks to a header from Sadik, who capitalized on a loose ball after a poorly defended set-piece action by the Granada defense.
After the goal, the team coached by Pacheta attempted to react, increasing their offensive presence in the final minutes before halftime. Arnáiz and Alemañ tried their luck with shots from outside the box, but without success.
The second half offered a better performance from Granada CF, with greater intensity and more advanced pressing on Ceuta's ball circulation. The substitutions made by the coach seemed to energize the team, which gained more presence in the opponent's half and sought an equalizer, even from set pieces.
Despite the improvement, clear chances were scarce against a well-organized Ceuta defense. The best opportunity for an equalizer came in the 88th minute when Rodelas hit the crossbar. Nevertheless, the team showed positive signs after halftime, maintaining the overall tone of a preseason that continues to be considered noteworthy.
