The political party Adelante Andalucía has announced the names that will make up its electoral list for the province of Granada for the upcoming Regional Elections, scheduled for May 17th. The candidacy will be led by Inmaculada Manzano, while former athlete Ángel García will occupy the second spot.
In the third position on the list is Verónica Correa, an administrator of legal offices, and in the fourth position, former regional deputy Ana Villaverde, who previously headed the candidacy for the province in 2022.
This is a list made up of committed individuals, from social activism, who are stepping forward with the conviction that it is possible to carry out effective work so that the voices and demands of numerous just and necessary causes and struggles are heard in the Andalusian Parliament.
Inmaculada Manzano Romero, the head of the list, holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of Granada. She has several master's degrees in Latin American Studies, Hispano-African Relations, and Teacher Training. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate at the University of Granada and works as a lecturer at the International University of Valencia. Additionally, Manzano is part of the national committee of the Andalusian Workers' Union (SAT) and has extensive experience in trade unionism and social movements.
For his part, Ángel García Úbeda, number two on the list, is a native of Guadix and works in environmental management, in addition to being a councilor in his municipality. With training in artistic photography, he is also a national athletics coach and a former athlete with a distinguished record.
The third candidate, Verónica Correa Domínguez, is originally from Motril and currently resides in Vélez de Benaudalla. Her professional activity focuses on the administration of legal offices. She has received training in Psychology, Labor Relations, digital skills, equality, and data protection, and actively participates in various social movements on the Costa Tropical.
