The Andalusian party Adelante Andalucía has shown its support for the families gathered outside the San Rafael Early Attention Center (Cait) in Granada, to protest against what they consider an imminent "dismantling" of the service. The party criticizes the management of the Junta de Andalucía, which leaves minors in a state of "uncertainty and helplessness" due to the lack of a clear destination after June 30.
One of the affected mothers recalled the commitment made by counselor Antonio Sanz to review each case individually, but regrets that the only information received is about the center's closure. She warns that changing centers without respecting the current therapeutic bond "will cause setbacks in the children's development".
The representative for Granada, Inma Manzano, has accused the Partido Popular of "playing with the expectations of those affected" before the elections and of wanting to "end this matter with a stroke of the pen." She emphasized that "minors are not a number or a matter of tenders or subcontractors, but have the right to be cared for with guarantees".
Adelante Andalucía has also pointed out that, under the new contract from the Junta de Andalucía, the Zaidín neighborhood will be left "without early attention coverage," which contradicts the promise to expand coverage in the province.
We commit to bringing the families' demands back to the Andalusian Parliament and to maintain the fight both inside and outside the institutions.
The party concluded by demanding that "more public resources be allocated to early attention instead of cutting existing services," and assured the mothers of their "firm support" to prevent the dismantling of reference centers.
