The Andalusian formation expressed solidarity with the victim, a cook working at a public school and an alternative bar in the city, who was allegedly attacked for wearing an anti-fascist t-shirt. The National Police have launched an investigation into the events.
“"These aggressions are a response to the far-right's hate speech that, with total impunity, floods social media and sports spaces, where a large part of youth gathers. Discourses that resonate with young people and lead them to unite in 'hunts' against people who respect human rights."
Adelante Andalucía described the aggression as "brutal" and stated that insecurity in Granada is not generated by those fleeing poverty or war, but by those who attack individuals based on their ideology, ethnicity, or origin.
The party urged the Government Subdelegation and the National Police to conduct a "rapid and effective" investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible. They also called on political parties and administrations to take responsibility for curbing hate messages and violence.
