Last weekend, La Nucía hosted the Spanish U14 Athletics Championship, where two promising athletes from the province of Huelva achieved remarkable results, both securing bronze medals in their respective events.
Alberto Pérez España, from Bonares and a member of the Club Atletismo El Lince de Bonares, earned the bronze in the triathlon D category. This challenging combined event includes the 80-meter dash, discus throw, and shot put.
Additionally, Rocío González López, an athlete from Almonte competing for the Club Deportivo Atletismo Bollullos, also secured a third-place finish in triathlon E. This category comprises the 80-meter dash, 2,000-meter race walk, and javelin throw.
