The Civil Guard has arrested four individuals in the town of Chucena, who are accused of drug trafficking. One of the detainees has a prior record for similar offenses. The arrested individuals, residents of the municipality, allegedly used their home as a selling point, which had caused considerable social alarm among residents due to the illicit activity.
The operation, named Condal 71 LISA, began after reports of constant transit of drug-dependent individuals, from both the town and surrounding municipalities, to the investigated residence. It was confirmed that the occupants carried out drug deliveries through the back door after receiving telephone warnings from buyers.
The alleged perpetrators took security precautions to avoid detection by individuals or vehicles unfamiliar to the area. Consequently, they began selling drug doses a few meters from the residence, carrying one or two doses and little cash.
Following surveillance operations, nearly a hundred transactions of narcotic substances were recorded. The intervention resulted in the arrest of the four individuals and the complete dismantling of the drug dealing point. This location was situated a short distance from leisure areas, an educational center, and the municipal sports center, which had intensified social alarm and caused public order disturbances.
The detainees and the compiled proceedings have been handed over to the Court of La Palma del Condado.
