The semi-rigid vessel approached the shore, causing considerable surprise. According to sources familiar with the case, several recreational boats and small dinghies participated in supplying numerous gasoline canisters, a practice known as petaqueo, linked to drug trafficking activities.
The event unfolded during peak hours on an August day, with the beach crowded with people who witnessed the maneuver with astonishment.
Several patrols from the Civil Guard were dispatched to the scene and attempted to identify the occupants of the narcolancha and the vessels involved in the refueling, but were unsuccessful.
The semi-rigid boat completed its refueling and subsequently left the area. Agents conducted operations in the Carreras estuary to try and identify the individuals and vessels involved in this incident, which adds to other episodes related to gasoline supply for narcolanchas in the region.
