The blaze, which began around 4:30 PM on Monday, August 17, reportedly started in a motorcycle and spread to other parked vehicles. Firefighters from several stations were deployed to control the flames and prevent further damage to the buildings.
The incident occurred on a level located beneath four seven-story buildings. The fire destroyed five cars and three motorcycles, prompting emergency teams to evacuate residents from the affected properties.
During the emergency, three individuals were treated by medical services for smoke inhalation, though none required hospitalization. The fire was brought under control around 9:00 PM, but inspection work continued through the night.
Firefighters inspected the homes in all four blocks to assess their condition and ensure residents' safety before allowing them to return. Residents of one building were able to return home that night, while those from the other two had to stay elsewhere temporarily, in hotels or with family.
Extinguishing and securing efforts focused on both the parking area and the parts of the buildings affected by smoke.
