All streets in the area known as the Barriada de los Maestros, located next to El Botánico, now feature new asphalt. This action responds to a historic demand from residents who had gone decades without significant improvements in the area.
The mayor, Carmen Álvarez, visited the neighborhood to inspect the completed work and expressed her satisfaction. According to residents, the last improvement project in the area dates back over 40 years. "We have fulfilled our commitment to the residents of the Barriada de los Maestros," stated Álvarez.
These paving works are in addition to other interventions previously carried out in the neighborhood, such as sidewalk renovation, accessibility improvements by removing architectural barriers, parking reorganization, and the refurbishment of garden areas. The City Council plans to continue with future actions to further enhance the neighborhood.
The local government thus reaffirms its commitment to the neighborhoods of Sanlúcar, aiming to improve citizens' quality of life through management focused on addressing the needs raised by the community.
